Daily Words of Encouragement – September 30 – Fr Osita Eze

 In Homilies

Dear friend, I want you to look back and examine the journey of the year 2020 so far…

How many people began this year and how many are alive today…
Some were on their two feet as of January 1, 2020, but now what has happened to them?
Some were in their homes then but now are no more there…
There was no news about COVID 19 in January, but thousands have gone.

All through the lockdown, hunger may have occurred, but you never had an ulcer. You are healthy and fit. Money was very scarce. Those who should have helped you out gave a million excuses… Yet, your Faithful Guardian kept His loving gaze on you as if you are the only one.

You are the apple of God’s eyes and He has sworn to bless you as you draw the curtain of September and eagerly await the New Month of October!

Those who could not make it till date aren’t worst sinners. It is not by your merit or good deeds, but because of the merciful grace upon you.

Please raise your voice to sing this lovely gratuitous song with me.

When all upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed. When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost. Count your many blessings, name them one by one. And it will surprise you what the Lord has done…….Count your blessings, name them one by one + Amen! Good morning and keep being Happy.
St Jerome pray for us.
