Fasting and Feasting! Words and opposite, right?

Yes, that’s what I’m sharing with you today.

Fasting and feasting is not just used in the ordinary sense of the word, but in fact, it connotes divine mysteries.

The perfect example and true fast was carried out by the people of Nineveh when the Prophet Jonah preached the shortest sermon. “Only forty days more and Nineveh will be destroyed”.

Dear friend, you are invited by the Lord today, to FAST from anything that prevents the Action of the Holy Spirit in your life (basically, sin) and FEAST on what paves way for the Spirit of God to possess you!(Gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit).

A Hindu proverb goes thus: Every human has a wolf and a sheep.

The one that is well fed is the one that grows in him/her.

The Lord says, ‘I know my sheep and mine know me’. My sheep hears my voice, they know me and follow me’. Jesus throughout His discourse, described His disciples as sheep.(John 10 v 1-14).

Please, by performing the True fasting and feasting, pleasing to God, you can be aptly named, The sheep in the sheepfold of Jesus Christ + Amen!

Good morning and have a wonderful weekend.
