Daily Words of Encouragement – April 28 – Fr Osita Eze

 In Homilies
It’s evident that the government has said: “ The restriction on religious and social gathering remains in place while some businesses will be open”.
Dear child of God, we have to intensify our prayers in order for God to redeem us from this mess.
For us to be safe, we have to commit our lives, souls and spirit into the hands of God for the Lord is the Rock of refuge for us. He is our mighty stronghold who saves us from the grip of our enemies. He saves us from all evils, from all sicknesses and misfortunes.
Do you know that Jesus is the only one who can quench your thirst and fill you up with the bread of life? Ask him today for that bread for He said: “I am the bread of life, he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst”.
Our hope and trust in God is tested at every interval especially with the persisting effects of this pandemic in our time. The Lord continues to say, “come to me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matt 11 v 28).
My Dear, taste and see that the Lord is good. Seek him always. Run to Him in constant prayer, charity, and constantly soak yourself; spirit, soul and body into that precious blood of Jesus Christ.
I encourage you to ask for the forgiveness of sins; personal, family, country and global so as to appease the anger of God upon humanity.
Be prayerful and fix yourself firmly in his hands and remain safe with Him.
It’s well with us all and may Almighty God bless you + Amen!
Good morning and how are you today?
