A Christmas Carol to Remember

 In Parish News

The much anticipated Christmas carol planned by the Catholic Church of the Assumption, Asokoro, Abuja, was received amid much fanfare not only within the church community in attendance but also among invited guests at the event. Those seeking to have a good time and to praise our Lord Jesus Christ were marveled at the performances which left them spellbound. Although few performances were marred by technical issues, this did not in any way hamper the atmosphere of pure delight, praise singing, and worship of Jesus Christ.

The highpoint of the event was the performances by the children. Their performance ended with a rousing standing ovation with cheers and commendations. They stole the hearts of many. The video of the children’s performances is below.

With the carols coming to an end, the church community remains ever grateful to God for His mercies throughout the year. May 2018 be much more prosperous, more spirit-filled, and may we draw even closer to God. Amen.
